The "Basic" line emerged from the needs of the Italian domestic market, but it is basic in name only, not in concept. It's a young, resourceful, and dynamic fashion line because it keeps up with the demands of the market. With these qualities, we aim to provide fast production, for both large and small quantities, while taking advantage of the flexibility of our business structure. "Basic" works with the seasons and expresses itself best in Fall/Winter which is inspired by traditional techniques unique to Prato, such as the carding process, which is carried out by choosing each fiber individually, creating the right mix from which many of our yarns are created. This gives rise to items containing wool, mohair, and angora mixed in various percentages, worked by industry experts to achieve a final product with exceptional look and feel at competitive prices.
With the support of research and development, we are also adept in making items simpler by using synthetic, man-made, dyeable fibers in order to meet stylistic requirements of the final product. We not only make classic jersey, but also jacquard fabrics developed on circular knitting machines, flat knitting, and crochet frames.
With all of this, "Basic" is a win-win for our customers in the ready-to-wear market, because in addition to timely production it is a competitor in terms of price.
The "+39" is our latest line of products for high fashion. We bring both style and research together on the international catwalks, never forgetting our origin in the world of Prato textiles, which is projected today with the most modern finishing techniques. The name comes from the international prefix to call Italy, "+39", to emphasize our passion for products Made in Italy. Developing two collections per year, "+39" is present on the international scene with fabrics used for t-shirts, coats, dresses, and pants, all geared towards fashion forward women: woven crepe, double-sided, padded, coupled, laminates, and jacquard designs with classic or original patterns.
You will find high-quality fabrics that meet the most demanding requirements, innovative proposals and technical solutions which are developed together with customers, from the dyed yarn to the dyed end-piece.
The research begins with the selection of raw materials, sometimes directly from the fiber, and then we move onto weaving which plays a key role in the conception of the product. We employ a wide range of gauges in both circular and flat knitting machines, electronic machines, as well as jacquard and crochet looms that allow us to achieve significant quantities. Then our fabrics are sent to be dyed and finished, not only utilizing standard procedures but also special washes, particular finishes, and researched hands obtained with the use of specific products.
All of this is executed with efficiency and expertise, making "+39" a truly unique textile experience.
